After I switch from 35 mm zooms to 645 primes, this lense is on my Contax 645 most of the time, for portrait and landscape. Just a few days after Laura visited Wausau for our session, we headed to Minneapolis to meet Laura, Todor & their sweet pup Bianca. This is one of the sharpest lense I have ever used, comparable to the 120 mm Zeiss lense which I also have.

We knew that it was about time to update the photos on our website and there wasn't a hint of a doubt that Laura was the one we hoped would capture us on film :)Īs we started chatting and preparing for our session, it turned out that she & Todor were also hoping to be photographed by a film shooter! We were slightly nervous and super honored to hear that we would be photographing a photographer who we look up to SO much!! Laura is a huge inspiration to us and just thinking about the fact that she would be on the other side of our cameras filled us with excitement. We are doing a little happy dance around our sunroom as we prepare these images of Laura & Todor to share with you today!! Laura is a friend of ours who happens to be an amazing film photographer in the Twin Cities! We are constantly in awe of Laura's absolutely beautiful images and have somewhat adopted her as our little family photographer ever since our first session with Laura in 2010, which is something that we are so grateful for!  ) There is truly something to be said about choosing a photographer whose personality puts you at ease and who you can truly be yourselves around! And for us, that is Laura! Her approach to shooting a session is so relaxed yet fun and she has an energy that immediately puts you at ease in front of her camera.
